What we collect
- Account data: your email address and encrypted password, collected when you sign up.
- Feedback content: the text, files, or data you submit for analysis. This is processed to generate your report and saved to your analysis history.
- Usage events: which views you visit, when analyses are run, time-to-completion, and similar product usage signals. We use these to improve the product.
- Integration credentials: personal API tokens you connect for ClickUp, Linear, Asana, or Jira. Stored and used only to fetch data on your request.
- Technical data: IP addresses, browser type, and request logs collected automatically by our infrastructure providers.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and provide the service.
- To process your feedback through AI and return analysis results.
- To save your analysis history so you can access past reports.
- To enforce subscription limits and trial periods.
- To understand how the product is used and improve it.
- To contact you about your account, billing, and material service changes.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your submitted feedback content to train AI models.
Third-party processors
- Supabase — authentication, database storage, and file storage (hosted in the US).
- Anthropic — AI analysis of your submitted feedback. Anthropic's API processes content transiently and does not retain it for model training under our API agreement.
- Vercel — hosting and serverless compute (hosted in the US).
Each processor is bound by their own data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Data retention
Your account data and analysis history are retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. Usage event logs are retained for 12 months. Integration tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect an integration.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated data by emailing
hello@signalbuzz.com. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to object to processing and to data portability. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is needed beyond this disclosure.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production databases is restricted to authorized personnel. We follow industry-standard security practices and promptly address reported vulnerabilities.
Children
SignalBuzz is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
